Owen Vanderstelt took the mound as the starting pitcher for Fremont conceding two hits and seven runs (four earned) across two innings, striking out one batter and issuing two walks.

Blake Zerlaut made significant contributions from the heart of the lineup, leading the Packers with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-2 on the day.

Looking ahead, the Fremont Packers will face the Kent City Eagles in their next game on Saturday.

Fremont Packers Fall Short Against Manistee Mariners

The Fremont Varsity Baseball team found themselves unable to match the pace set by Manistee, ultimately losing 6-3 on Tuesday.

Fremont got on the scoreboard in the top of the fourth inning when Easton Herman singled, and a wild pitch allowed Fremont to score, each contributing one run.

Paxton Borgman took to the mound initially for the Fremont Varsity Packers. Over three innings, he conceded one hit and three runs (one earned), striking out five batters and issuing two walks.

Easton Herman and Luke DeLong proved to be formidable hitters for Fremont, each securing one hit while batting consecutively. Their combined efforts resulted in each driving in one run for Fremont.
