Fremont Packers Struggle Against Whitehall Vikings, Fall 8-3
The Fremont Packers found themselves unable to keep pace with the Whitehall Vikings, ultimately losing 8-3 on Saturday.
Fremont managed to get on the scoreboard in the bottom of the second inning when Remi Faulkner walked, and a passed ball allowed Fremont to score, resulting in each contributing one run.
Johnny Keena opened the game for Fremont, pitching three innings and conceding two runs on two hits, with four strikeouts and two walks. I
Paxton Borgman led the offensive effort for Fremont, contributing one hit in three at-bats.
Fremont will next host the Hastings Saxons on Thursday April 18th.
