MONTAGUE HIGH SCHOOL: 20
The Packers lost a tough one Friday at Montague losing 20-0 and falling to 4-3 for the season. The Packers controlled the offensive side of the ball in every category except the scoreboard. The bright spot of the evening senior Justin Dirheimer going over 1000 yards rushing for the season, finished the night with 168 yards rushing on 38 carries. On the defensive side of the ball, Michael Romero lead the defense with 6.5 tackles, Owen VandenBerg with 5.5 and Conner Pettis and Andrew Steger both had 4.5 tackles. Gabe VanVleet also had a forced fumble and recovery for the defense. The Packers return home next Friday for their game against Whitehall.
