On 10/22/22 The JV Lady Packers traveled to Newaygo High School for their final day of the season. The day was very successful, but the team did barely come up short in the championship match losing to Kent City. The team played very hard and came together as a team throughout the day.   Mackenzie Gleason led the team with 24 kills for the day. Brynna Barnhart had 42 assists for the day. Kiley Homrich assisted the team with very consistent serves throughout the day. Maria Mizagajska was aggressive in the front row with many attacks. Ivy Heft had 15 kills for the day. Averi Zimmer and Hallie Snyder both had 10 kills.   Defensively Grace Evans had 16 digs, Maddie Baden had 20 digs, Hadley Whitaker, and Kylie Rich both had 13 digs, and Cecelia Crisman had 18 digs for the day. Defensively the team did well along with strong passing.   The tournament was a great way to end a great season. The team grew a lot throughout the season and worked hard every day. Although the JV team season in complete they Varsity team will play in Districts on Thursday 11/3/22, which is hosted right here in Fremont!   Go Pack!

Today the lady JV Packers traveled to Reeths Puffer to take on Reeths Puffer and Spring Lake. The Packers came up short tonight losing to both teams. The scores against Spring Lake were 13-25 and 24-26. The Packers went 3 sets with Reeths Puffer for scores of 25-13, 18-25, and 12-15.   The team played hard tonight and really fought against their competition. Offensively Mackenzie Gleason led the team with 9 kills along with 6 aces for the night. Brynna Barnhart had 19 assists for the night. Kiley Homrich helped with her passing and her hitting. Maria Mizagajska was aggressive all night earning 1 kill. Ivy Heft had 6 kills while Hallie Snyder had 3. Averi Zimmer had 5 kills for the night.   Defensively Grace Evans, Maddie Baden and Kylie Rich led the team; Grace with 9 digs, Maddie with 7 and Kylie with 7. Cecelia Crisman was close with 6 digs. Hadley Whitaker hustled on the court defensively as well.     There was a lot of great volleyball tonight. The Packers will wrap up their season this Saturday 10/22/22 with a tournament at Newaygo High School. Go Packers!

The JV Lady Packers traveled to Oakridge on 10/18/22 for their last conference match of the season. The team fought hard and just barely came up short in the third set. The scores for the sets were 20-25, 25-29, and 9-15.   Leading the team offensively was Mackenzie Gleason with 8 kills. Brynna Barnhart had 9 assists for the night. Kiley Homrich, Ivy Heft, and Hallie Snyder all had 2 kills for the night. Averi Zimmer had a good night with multiple aggressive hits for the night and 3 aces.   Defensively Maddie Baden had 5 digs for the night followed by Grace Evans, Cecelia Crisman, and Hadley Whitaker all with 3 digs for the night. Kylie Rich benefited the team with her passing throughout the night. Maria Mizagajska helped both offensively and defensive with digs and aggressive hits.   The team will travel to Reeths Puffer on Thursday 10/20/22 for a tri. Go Pack!  

Saturday 10/15/22 the JV Lady Packers traveled to Grand Haven High school for the Lakeshore Classic Invitational. The team played some very tough competition and ended with a 0-4 record for the day.   The main highlights from the day include Mackenzie Gleason leading the team offensively with 9 kills. Defensively Grace Evans had 13 digs playing as libero. The team worked very hard and some great plays. They hustled after every ball and came together as a team.   The team will travel to Oakridge on Tuesday 10/18/22 for their last conference game of the season. Go Pack!

On 10/11/22 the JV lady packers traveled to Ludington for a conference match. The packers lost in 2 sets.   The highlights of the night included a serving streak of 6 with and additional 2 aces by Hallie Snyder. Averi Zimmer had 6 kills for the night. Grace Evans with 7 digs for the night. The entire team stayed positive and supportive the entire match. Although, the night ended in a loss the team worked hard.   The team will travel to Grand Haven on Saturday 10/15/22 for a tournament.   Go Pack!

On 10/6/22 the JV lady packers traveled to Mona Shores for a Tri. The team had a rough night losing to both Mona Shores and Oakridge.   The main highlights of the night included 9 aces, 8 assists by our setter, and multiple aggressive attacks. The team had a few amazing digs and saves throughout the night as well. They worked hard and hustled to every ball. A few of the athletes played multiple positions when needed as well. Though it wasn’t the outcome we wanted the team worked hard together and is preparing for their next match on Tuesday 10/11/22 against Ludington.   Go Pack!

Tonight, the JV Lady Packers hosted Whitehall for their final home game of the season. The night ended well with the packers winning in 2 sets; 25-11 and 25-23.   Brynna Barnhart played well with 12 assists for the night. Leading the team offensively was Mackenzie Gleason with 7 kills and Averi Zimmer with 4 kills. Ivy Heft served well tonight with 4 aces. Hadley Whitaker played well as right front tonight with and aggressive attack and dig. Kiley Homrich played well also with an aggressive attack and good serve receive passing. Hallie Snyder swung hard all night with multiple attacks and 2 kills.   Defensively Grace Evans played set 1 as libero and Kylie Rich played libero set 2. Both athletes had 2 digs each for the night. Cecelia Crisman assisted with 3 digs. Maddie Baden also helped with 2 digs for the night. Maria Mizagajska played right back tonight and assisted with an ace and solid pass.   The night overall was strong and a great way to end our last home game. On 9/22/22 the JV Lady Packers traveled to Ravenna High School for a quad. The team went 2-1 losing to Ludington but battling hard and beating Shelby and Ravenna.   Brynna Barnhart had 30 assists for the night. Leading the team offensively was Mackenzie Gleason and Hallie Snyder with 11 kills each. Averi Zimmer and Ivy heft both had 6 kills for night. Kiley Homrich had 4 kills and many attacks.   Defensively Kylie Rich and Grace Evans both played as libero during the night. Kylie Rich had 13 digs. Grace Evans had 25 digs for the night. Cecelia Crisman also had many digs for a total of 9 digs. Maddie Baden helped the team with her 7 aces and 13 digs for the night.   It was a great night of volleyball and the last match against Ravenna was a battle for the team. On 9/17/22 the JV Lady Packers to Reed City High School for a tournament. The day was long, but the volleyball was great with the team ending 4-1 for the day. The team beath Lake City, Hesperia, Manton, and Reed City. The team just barely came up short losing against Comstock Park.   Brynna Barnhart had a total 52 assists for the day. Leading the team offensively was Mackenzie Gleason with 17 kills for the day and Hallie Snyder with 15 attacks for the day. Ivy Heft and Averi Zimmer followed closely with 10 kills each. Maria Mizagajska had 5 digs for the day along with a great serving streak against Hesperia. Kiley Homrich helped defensively and offensively with 7 attacks and 6 digs for the day.   Grace Evans played libero for the day and had 19 service reception passes and 29 digs for the day. Cecelia followed with 10 digs for the day. Kylie Rich supported the team with 7 service receptions and 8 digs for the day. Maddie Baden was aggressive in the back row with 7 digs for the day. Hadley Whitaker also had 7 digs in the back row. There was one highlight that the team would remember from the day being when Hadley lost her shoe in the middle of a play and continued to play without helping the team to win the point!   It was a great day of volleyball, and the team will have a few days off until they travel to Ravenna High School on 9/22.   Go Packers!

The JV Lady Packers hosted their first home conference match against Manistee. The team won in 2 sets. The scores where 25-12 and 25-20.    Brynna Barnhart had 14 assists for the night, 1 solo block and 5 aces. Mackenzie Gleason led the team with 4 kills for the night follow by Averi Zimmer and Ivy Heft with 3 kills each. All 3 athletes had 2 aces for the night. Hallie Snyder had 4 aces for the night and 2 kills. Hadley Whitaker had 2 aces for the night. Kiley Homrich helped defensively and offensively with 2 kills, a solo block, and a solid dig. Maria Mizagajska did great with 2 aggressive serves.   Defensively Grace Evans played libero with multiple string serve receive passes and 7 digs. Kylie Rich also helped in the back row with solid serve receive passing and digs. Maddie Baden had 3 digs and an aggressive attack in the back row. Cecelia Crisman had 4 digs for the night.    Overall, the team played well and and are currently 2-0 for conference matches. Next they play at home for a quad on Thursday 9/15 at 5:30pm.  Go pack! 

The JV Lady Packers were home for their first home quad of the season on 9/8/22. They battled hard playing 3 sets against each team. The team went 2-1 for the night falling just short against Big Rapids but beating Whitehall and Ludington.   Brynna Barnhart had a total of 37 assists for the night and 3 kills. Offensively, Mackenzie Gleason led the team with 16 kills and 3 solo blocks. Averi Zimmer assisted with 11 kills for the night. Other areas that our team shined was with blocking, Ivy Heft had 3 solo blocks for the night. Hallie Snyder did not miss a serve the entire night. Another highlight of the night was the serving done my Kylie Rich. She had a total of 10 aces for the night along with very consistent serves.   Kiley Homrich had many attacks for the night, but also helped our team with serve receive. Grace Evans was very consistent with her passing for the night along with many digs. Maddie Baden supported the team with her quick feet picking up a total of 14 digs for the night. Cecelia Crisman followed closely with a total of 11 digs for the night. Hadley Whitaker played in two different positions for the night and helped support the team both defensively and offensively.   Overall, it was a great night of volleyball for the JV team! The JV Lady Packers traveled to Montague for their first conference match of the season. The team worked hard and pulled out a win in two sets!   Offensively Mackenzie Gleason led the team with 5 kills followed up by Averi Zimmer with 4 kills for the night. Hallie Snyder had 3 kills for the night as well! Brynna Barnhart had a total of 19 assists for the night. Ivy Heft helped with many attacks and 3 aces in a row. Kiley Homrich had a couple of kills for the night and 1 assist.   Defensively Kylie Rich played libero tonight and had multiple digs along with strong serve receive passes. Grace Evans and Cecelia Crisman moved quickly on the court both having multiple digs for the evening. Maddie Baden played aggressively in the back row picking up digs and having 3 attacks. Hadley Whitaker had a few attacks and multiple solid passes.   Overall, the team fought hard in each set and brought home their first conference win of the season!   The teams next match is a quad this Thursday 9/8/22 at 5pm. The JV Lady Packers played at Jenison in a quad on August 31st. They battled hard and lost to Jenison and Mona Shores, but their hard work paid off and they beat Hopkins. The night started out tough for the Lady Packers, but there were many good things to come of the night.   The team was lead in kills by Mackenzie Gleason and Ivy Heft, both in middle front. Brynna Barnhart had 25 assists for the night along with leading the team with 6 aces. Hallie Snyder assisted the team with 2 kills and multiple aggressive attacks. Averi Zimmer swung hard all night and had 3 kills for the night. Kiley Homrich had a very consistent serve throughout the night along with very consistent attacks as right front.   Grace Evans played as libero with multiple strong passes in serve receive and 13 digs. Cecelia Crisman was a strong and consistent server for the team along with having aggressive back row attacks and 1 kill. Maddie Baden also had aggressive attacks and 1 kill in the back row. Kylie Rich supported the team in right back with 3 digs and 2 kills. Hadley Whitaker had consistent serves along with strong passes throughout the night.   Overall, the Lady Packers pushed hard and came together as a team to beat Hopkins in 2 sets.   The lady Packer JV Volleyball team played Monday August 22nd at the Cadillac High School JV Volleyball Invitational. The team played hard in pool play ending with 4 wins and 2 losses. The team was seeded 4th in the gold bracket. During the tournament Mackenzie Gleason lead the team with kills followed by Hallie Snyder. Brynna Barnhart led the team in assists for the day and in aces with a total of 10 aces. Kiley Homrich and Kylie Rich had multiple assists throughout the day. Kylie Rich and Grace Evans supported the team by both sporting the opposite jersey as libero with strong passing the entire day. Cecelia Crisman had 2 kills from the back row along with multiple aggressive attacks. Averi Zimmer had a strong day with multiple kills and aggressive attacks in the front row. Hadley Whitaker had strong passing throughout the day along with a couple kills. Ivy Heft helped in middle front with a few solo blocks and aggressive attacks. Maddie Baden supported the team with her quick feet in the back row and strong defense. Bracket play ended after the first match against Lade Odessa ultimately ending the tournament there for the Lady Packers. Overall, it was a strong day of volleyball!   Go Packers!
