On 10/22/22 The JV Lady Packers traveled to Newaygo High School for their final day of the season. The day was very successful, but the team did barely come up short in the championship match losing to Kent City. The team played very hard and came together as a team throughout the day.

Mackenzie Gleason led the team with 24 kills for the day. Brynna Barnhart had 42 assists for the day. Kiley Homrich assisted the team with very consistent serves throughout the day. Maria Mizagajska was aggressive in the front row with many attacks. Ivy Heft had 15 kills for the day. Averi Zimmer and Hallie Snyder both had 10 kills.

Defensively Grace Evans had 16 digs, Maddie Baden had 20 digs, Hadley Whitaker, and Kylie Rich both had 13 digs, and Cecelia Crisman had 18 digs for the day. Defensively the team did well along with strong passing.

The tournament was a great way to end a great season. The team grew a lot throughout the season and worked hard every day. Although the JV team season in complete they Varsity team will play in Districts on Thursday 11/3/22, which is hosted right here in Fremont!
