The Packers took on the Tigers from Shelby in Thursday night action in boys' soccer. Fremont started strong in the first half scoring three by half. Kasidy Wright scored two of those goals on assists from Jaxx Miller. The third goal came off a corner kick when Grant Vissia sent a ball to Braiden McDonald's head. Shelby answered in the second half with a goal of their own. Logan Claeys struck a ball from 25 yards off putting the Tigers on the board. The Packers ended up winning the match 3-1. Joe Kortge made 5 saves off of 6 shots for the Packers while Ben Kelley made 14 saves off of 17 shots for the Tigers. The Packers moved to 1-1 overall while the Tigers dropped to 1-3.
