Girls Varsity Track vs. OPEN
The girls had their first meet of the season at GVSU today. We have a lot of new athletes to Track & Field and they showed a lot of potential! A few highlights of the day:
Senior Victoria Ekkel ran a PR in the 60-meter dash, Rachel Maddox (Jr) and Cayman Ramsey(SO) ran great in the 200, Linnea Paige (SO) ran well in the 800 and 1600. Freshman Jailyn Saum ran an impressive 400, and freshman Kira Manchip had a good showing in the 60-meter hurdles.
