The Tigers from Shelby traveled to Fremont to take on the Packers on Wednesday evening for the first match of the year for both teams. Fremont struck first on a goal from Marcus Klimek just 5 minutes into the match. Shelby responded 10 minutes later to knot the game at 1-1. This score held until the half. Fremont again took the lead 15 minutes into the second half on a goal from Chaz Miller. However, Shelby again tied the match just 3 minutes later. 2-2 was the final. Shelby outshot the Packers 12-5. Carter Miller made 10 saves in net for Fremont.
