The Packer Girls' Tennis team traveled to Whitehall on Wed., May 1 for a Conference match. The Fremont team played very well but came up short 2-6. Winners were: Autumn Wight, (exhibition singles), #4 Doubles: Sophia Morse & Lyla Osterhart, and #3 Doubles: Hannah Moore and Mia Foster.  The Packers play again in Ludington at the Western Michigan Conference Tournament on Wed., May 8 at 1pm.

The Fremont Girls' Tennis team won their first match of the 2024 season beating Muskegon Catholic Central 7-1 at their home courts on Wed., April 25. Singles winners were: Kyra DeAugustine, Lily Deters, and Autumn Wight. Doubles winners were: Gabi Folkema/Lena Hudson, Cadence DeAugustine/Chelsey Rasmussen, Bree Grove/Hannah Moore, and Mia Foster/Lyla Osterhart. 

The PACKER Girls' Tennis team traveled to Sparta on Tues., April 16 and lost 1-7. Winning in 3 sets was #3 Doubles Bree Grove & Hannah Moore. Next match is HOME against Ludington on Wed., April 17 at 4pm.

In an overall close WMC Conference match in Manistee on Mon., April 15, the Fremont Packer Girls' Varsity Tennis team lost to Manistee 3-5. Winners for the Packers were: #2 Doubles Cadence DeAugustine/Chelsey Rasmussen; #3 Doubles Hannah Moore/Bree Fields; and #4 Doubles Mia Foster/Lyla Osterhart. Fremont's next match is Tues., April 16 at Sparta.

On a beautiful day on Wed., April 10, Fremont Girls' Varsity Tennis played in their first WMC Conference match of the 2024 season at home against a strong North Muskegon team. In their loss, Packers' #3 and #4 doubles teams went 3 sets. Seniors Bree Grove and Hannah Moore lost a close one 6-4, 2-6, 4-6 at #3 doubles and the #4 doubles team of Mia Foster (senior) and Lyla Osterhart (junior) lost a nail-biter 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 6-4 in a match lasting over 3 hours.  Fremont's next match is Mon., April 15 at Manistee at 4pm.
