Winners for the Packers were: Lauren Adsmond (#2 singles); Sydney Moon (#3 singles), and Kyra DeAugustine-Chelsey Rasmussen (#4 doubles) The Packers host at home on Manistee in a conference match on Wed., April 26.

The Packers Girls' Tennis team hosted Manistee on Wed., April 26. The match was close and ended in a 4-4 tie. Winners for Fremont were: #2 Singles Lauren Adsmond; #4 Singles Georgia Sparks; #3 Doubles Hannah Moore-Madi Boyd and #4 Doubles Chelsey Rasmussen-Kyra DeAugustine.

History was made Wednesday afternoon, April 12 on the home courts of the Fremont PACKERS Girls' Tennis Team. After MANY years of losing to Grant, the PACKERS team tied Grant 4-4. Of the 8 flights, 3 matches ended up being decided in a third set by a 10 point tie-breaker. Winning for Fremont was: Korianna Cook-Hansen (#4 Singles), Georgia Sparks and Bree Grove (#2 Doubles), Hannah Moore and Lorelei Davis (#3 Doubles), and Kyra DeAugustine and Chelsey Rasmussen (#4 Doubles). Kyra and Chelsey remain undefeated in the Conference at #4 Doubles. The PACKERS travel to Grand Rapids Union on Thursday, April 13 for a nonconference match.

The Fremont PACKER Girls' Varsity Tennis team traveled to Reeths Puffer on Tues., April 11 for 2 matches..They lost 0-8 to Reeths Puffer in the first match and 1-7 in the second match against Whitehall. Fremont's #4 Doubles team Chelsey Rasmussen and Kyra DeAugustine beat Whitehall 6-3, 6-2. Chelsey and Kyra remain undefeated in conference play. Tomorrow Fremont hosts Grant at 4pm.

Despite the cold temps and wind, the PACKER Girls' Tennis team took to the courts for their season opener on Thurs., March 23 at home against a strong N. Muskegon team. The final score was 1-7. Winning at #4 Double was�newcomer sophomores Kyra DeAugustine and Chelsey�Rasmussen. They won in 3 sets 7-6 (5), 4-6, 10-8. The Packers take on Grant on Wed., April 12 in Fremont in their first conference match of the 2023 season. Match start time is 4pm. Both Varsity and JV will be playing.
