WIN over Alma yesterday afternoon 7-1. Singles winners were: #2 Elli Maschke 6-0, 6-2; #3 Lena Hudson 6-0, 6-0; #4 Mikayla Slovinski 6-1, 6-2. Doubles winners were: #1 Grace Heft/Lauren Adsmond 6-2, 6-1; #2 Flor Romero/Naylan Matthews 6-1, 6-1; #3 Aubrey Holmes/Lorelei Davis 6-2, 6-4, 10-2; and #4 Dani Vincent/Hannah Moore 8-1.
Our next match is HOME against Ludington on Wed., May 12.

The Fremont Varsity Girls' Tennis Team traveled to Muskegon Catholic Central on Tues., May 4. Although the final score was FHS 2 to MCC 6, the whole team played very well. Winning for Fremont at #3 Doubles was Lorelei Davis and Aubrey Holmes 4-6, 7-5, 12-10 and #4 Doubles Dani Vincent and Hannah Moore 6-1, 6-3. The team travels to Cadillac on Thurs., May 6.

The Girls Varsity Tennis team played N. Muskegon in a conference match Wed., April 28. Fremont lost 0-8. Exchange student Sara Gregorio, subbing at #4 Singles, won the most games. Our next match is home against Grant on Thurs., April 29.

The Fremont Packer Girls Tennis Team hosted Big Rapids on Mon., April 26 in the wind and chilly temps. The Packers played well but lost 1-7. Individual winner was Mikayla Slovinski at #4 Singles. She beat Aliyah Glentz in 3 sets 6-2, 1-6, 7-5.

Fremont Girls Varsity Tennis played in the Ludington Invite on Sat., April 17. We came in 3rd out of 4 teams. (Ludington, Big Rapids, and Alma.) Player of the tournament was Mikalya Slovinksi at #4 Singles. She won 2 of her 3 matches and was the runner-up at #4 Singles.

Fremont Varsity Girls' Tennis battled the wind and cold on Tuesday in their match with Grand Rapids West Catholic HS. The girls played well but came up short 0-8. #1 Singles Rhyan Essebaggers won the first set of her match but eventually lost the last 2 sets 6-0, 1-6, 3-6.

The Fremont Varsity Girls Tennis team started their season playing in the Fruitport Invite. (Fruitport, Sparta, and Western MI Christian were part of this tournament.) Senior Elli Maschke, playing at #2 Singles, won her match against WMC 0-6, 6-3, 7-3.
