The girls golf team finished 3rd in the Hesperia Invatational played at Northwood Golf Course. Lauren Roossinck shot a season best round to finish 1st by 3 strokes in the tournamemt. Also playing one of her best rounds of the season was Autumn Dickson. Autumn shot a score of 98 and finished in 3rd place overall for the Lady Packers. The team will wind up their season August 8th at Whitehall's White Lake Golf Course in the MHSAA regional tournament. The top 3 finishing teams will move on to the State Finals held in East Lansing.

The Fremont Girls Golf team took the short trip to Village Green Golf Course Friday to defend their Newaygo County Golf Championship from 2023. The Fremont girls came away with a hard fought victory by edging Newaygo H.S by just 2 strokes. Leading the way for the Pack was medalist Lauren Roosinck, who was also the medalist of the 2023 tournament. Autumn Dickson came in 2nd place with Harleigh Engelhard of Grant finishing 3rd. For Newaygo, and also receiving medals were Morgan Sharp 4th, Marissa Carrier 5th and Sydnee Shepherd with a 6th place finish.
Lauren Roossinck finished the WMC golf season as an All-Conference Player. Lauren shot a 97 at Old Channel golf course on Thursday to finish 8th in the final match of the conference season. That was good for a top 10 of some 60 conference players. The Packer team finished 6th overall.
Lauren Roossinck shot a season best 91 to medal and finished 8th in the field of 73 players. Autumn Dickson played well and shot a career best 98 to finish 16th. It was the young Packers best showing of the season shooting 42 strokes better than their previous match at White Lake.
Fremont's Girls Golf Team traveled to Ludington's Lincoln Hills Golf Course Monday to play in the 2nd of 5 West Michigan Conference Jamboree. The team struggled with the fast greens and finished 6th in the 9 team field. Ellen Sparks playing in her first varsity match finished 23rd in the field of 46 players. Leading the way was Lauren Roossinck finishing 13th and Autumn Dickson with a 17th place finish.
The Fremont Girls Golf Team finished 5th of 9 teams in the 1st WMC Jamboree. Lauren Roossinck finished 3rd overall out of 44 players.
