Girls Varsity Golf vs. Cadillac High School

Lose: -
The girls golf team completed their season Tuesday at the Division 3 state regional tournament in Cadillac. Qualifing for the Regionals were Haley Zerlaut, Lena Hudson, Rhiannon Ziebke, and Lilly Schwartz. The Pack played well finishing 7th in the 16 team field. Haley and Lena both shot 97 to lead the way for the Pack.
The Packers finished in 3rd place in the 9-team CSAA conference with Haley Zerlaut earning 1st team all conference honors. Fremont also had a good non-conference season finishing with a 4 -1 record in their dual matches. Great season golfers.
Team members included Seniors, Haley Zerlaut, Rhiannon Ziebke, and Sarah Redder. Sophomores Lena Hudson, Lilly Schwartz, Nora Deater, Amelia Foster and Gabi Folkema. Lauren Roossinck represented the Freshmen class.

The lady Packers continued their fine play on Thursday. Old Channel Golf Course in Montague was the sight of a tri-match with Montague and Whitehall. Fremont finished just 4 shots behind Montague but finished with a team best score of 200. Haley Zerlaut was Medalist, shooting a 43 on the Valley course while Sophomore Lena Hudson once again surpassed her personal best score by shooing a 46. Sarah Redder shot a 55 while Lauren Roossinck came in with a 47.

The Fremont Girls Golf team traveled to Manistee Country Club to take on the Chippewas of Manistee and the Vikings of Whitehall. The Packers played well and came away with wins in both of their matches. Fremont shot a 9-hole score of 201, best score in 6 years, with Manistee shooting a 222 and Whitehall 208. Haley Zelaut was medalist and tied her personal best of 40 followed by Lena Hudson's personal best 48 and Lauren Roossinck's personal best 52.

The Fremont Girls' golf team wrapped up their conference season on Tuesday at The Falls at Barber Creek golf course. This was the conference championship match for the CSAA. The girls shot a combined score of 448 for the event which allowed them to finish in 3rd place in the 9 team field. Individually, Haley Zerlaut finished 5th in the field of 50 players which earned her 1st team All-Conference Honors. This is Haley's second year of finishing as a CSAA all-conference player.
