The Fremont High School (Packers) Boys Varsity Golf Team traveled to the Oceana Golf Club to play in the Oakridge High Invitational on Monday, April 26th. A total of seven (7) teams played in the event with the Packers finishing third (3rd). A unique format involved two players playing as singles with Devin Poll shooting a 96 and Caden Christofferson carding a104. The two man scramble team of Michael Romero and Jacob Dykman shot an 89. Justin Cox, playing as a single in a two man best ball format as the as the result of a illness to one of the team members shot a 93. The overall aggregate score of 382 on a blustery cold day with temperatures in the mid forties and winds gusts to 25 miles an hour was a respectable showing for the team.
