Fremont JV Packers had a non-conference match against Newaygo yesterday and took both games with a W! 12-9 in the first game and 18-12 in the second game.

Lana Campbell earned the win pitching in the first game, and Brownawyn Vliem earned the win in pitching in the second game.  

In the first game Jessica Reed and Campbell each collected one hit for the Packers, with Reed, Ashe Vandenberg, Vliem, Alayna Bukala, and Andrea Anderson all driving in a run.

In the night cap.....After Newaygo got a 5 run lead in the first inning the Fremont Packers flipped the game scoring 13 runs in the bottom of the 1st to take a 13-5 lead.  The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Lana Campbell that drove in two runs. Jessica Reed, Alayna Bukala, Mayah Karp, and Andrea Anderson also all collected hits for the Packers.

The JV Lady packers next game is Monday the 15th @ Mason County Central.
