The Packers traveled to Manistee on Friday night in a rematch of their week 1 opponent. The visiting Packers trailed by 5 after 1 and 2 at halftime, 19-17. The second half proved to be a back-and-forth battle. After 3 quarters the host Mariners held a 1 point lead, 30-29. The young Packers showed toughness and resiliency in the 4th with a 10-7 advantage. The final bucket of the game came as time expired as Sam Cummins grabbed an offensive board and took it up strong to secure the win! Many players contributed to the scoring this game with 6 finding the net. Leading them was Javon Brown with 12. Luke Follett added 8, with a couple of big 3's. Collin Trouslot had 6 points while having another monster night on the boards with 15. Collin also added 5 blocks. Sam Cummins chipped in 5 points and yanked down 8 boards. Eli Waite added 5 points and led the team with 3 steals. Leevi Dean contributed a big corner 3 in the 3rd. Overall, a great team win - avenging the early season loss.
