TRI-COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL: 40
Tough loss for the young Packers as we had 4 players out this week, 3 of them being starters. Tri County took advantage of the size difference throwing for big gains. Packers had players trying to adapt to new positions in the game day changes. Defensively, Chance Crawford, Owen Hertel and Kaiye Miron collectively had 6 tackles for loss. In the air Tritan Corrigan had a deflected pass and William DeBlake had a interception. Offensively, we had 2 fumbles and threw 1 interception. The young Packers didn’t give up though as they connected Khai Noordyk to William DeBlake for a 25 yard touchdown pass with 48 seconds left in the game. Khai Noordyk again showed strength running in the 2pt conversion. We only had 1 penalty all game and will continue to grow this week.
