LUDINGTON HIGH SCHOOL: 16
This season will be a huge learning curve for the JV team and it showed at times tonight. With only three returning Junior Varsity players from last season there is a lot of young and inexperience on the field. This will help the program for the future with lots of game experience for this groups of athletes. The Defense held up well making the Ludington Orioles Punt 6 times and only scoring on 2 drives. The defensive line showed sign of great effort and drive lead by Kaiye Miron and Noah Hall who were consistently in the back field making it difficult for the Orioles offense to work. The offense couldn't keep drives going at times with some turn overs that cost us in the end. The Packers receiving core had some sure hands from Kage Atwood and first year player Will Deblake who caught some tough balls in the middle of the Orioles defense.
