The affair began to turn in Fremont's favor in the third inning when the ever-resourceful Caleb Vissia grounded out, yet heroically managed to score a run.

In the top of the fifth, the valiant Packers reclaimed their lead with a dazzling display of skill: Remington Faulkner delivered a resplendent double, Big Rapids faltered with an error, and the indomitable CJ Naerebout doubled as well, each contributing to the scoreline with one run.

The victory was sealed by the formidable Collin Trouslot, who earned the win by conceding a mere five hits and two runs (one earned) over five and two-thirds innings, while striking out seven and issuing no walks. The coup de grâce was delivered by Colten Brown, who remarkably secured the save with but a single pitch.

Leading the charge at the plate was the peerless CJ Naerebout, who went 2-for-3 in his at-bats. Not a single error marred Fremont's performance in the field, with the indefatigable Mason Sparks commanding the most chances, amassing seven.
