Fremont Junior Varsity Baseball Can't Catch Up To Ludington Fremont watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 8-1 loss to Ludington on Tuesday. Ludington took the lead on a single in the first inning. Fremont struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Ludington, giving up eight runs.. Owen VanderStelt took the loss for Fremont lasting two and a third innings, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out three. Trent Gibbe, Deagan Klimek, Mason Sparks, and CJ Naerebout each collected one hit to lead Fremont while the team stole four bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Remi Faulkner led the way with two.
