Fremont Junior Varsity Baseball Fall to Montague After Fourth Inning Score Wednesday's game against Montague was a heartbreaker for Fremont Junior Varsity baseball, as they lost the lead late in a 14-8 defeat. The game was tied at six with Montague batting in the bottom of the fourth when Coltyn Zerlaut induced a hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored. Fremont lost despite out-hitting Montague 13 to eight. Fremont got things started in the first inning when Chase Mercer doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Coltyn Zerlaut was on the mound for Fremont Junior Varsity Packers. The pitcher allowed six hits and nine runs over three and a third innings, striking out one. Owen VanderStelt threw one and two-thirds innings in relief. Fremont Junior Varsity Packers racked up 13 hits.
