Fremont Junior Varsity Baseball Claims Lead in Fifth Inning to Defeat Ravenna The Fremont Junior Varsity Baseball team took the lead late and defeated Ravenna 13-7 on Friday. The game was tied at seven with Fremont batting in the bottom of the fifth when Coltyn Zerlaut drew a walk, scoring one run. Bats blistered as Fremont collected seven hits and Ravenna tallied six in the high-scoring game. Coltyn Zerlaut earned the win for Fremont lasting two innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out three. Owen VanderStelt started the game for Fremont allowing six hits and six runs over four innings, striking out five. Chase Mercer led Fremont with two hits in three at bats. Fremont stole 19 bases during the game as five players stole more than one with Deagan Klimek leading the way with four.
