Fruitport Invitational

The boys had a great meet in a see saw battle with Berrien Springs.  After several lead changes throughout the meet we ended up 2^nd with 117 points to Berrien Springs 120.  I was really proud of the way the boys competed.  It was cool and very windy.  It was also fun to compete with the girls team on co-ed relays with each boys and girls teams getting the relay points.  The top 3 relay teams and top 6 individuals earn medals.

Medal winners were

200 m Jacob Burns - 4th

400 m Luke Bradley - 5th, Silas Rinne - 6th

800 m Sean Pettis - 1st

1600 m Sean Pettis - 1st, Carter Sherman - 2nd, Blake Taylor - 3rd

3200 m - Carter Sherman - 2nd, Blake Taylor - 4th

110 Hurdles - Daniel Romero - 1^st (missed school record by .01 seconds), Owen Hertel - 6th

300 Hurdles - Daniel Romero - 4th, Carter Rottman - 5th, Owen Hertel - 6th

High Jump - Tritan Corrigan - 3rd

Pole Vault - Luke Bradley - 5th

Long Jump - Daniel Romero - 1st

Mixed 4x100 - Connor Pettis, Jacob Burns, Victoria Ekkel, Rachel Maddox - 3rd

Mixed 4x1600 - Mossen Green, Andy Krapp, Linnea Paige, Joelle Patten - 3rd
