Fremont wrestling had a good day on the mat Saturday being split at two different tournaments. At Hopkins, Fremont crowned a champion at the 150 pound weight class in Beckett Newell who ended the day 5-0. Also ending 5-0 at Hopkins included Kayden Stenberg and Graison Hoppa. Chase Montague and Khai Noordyk each finished 4th place in their respective weight classes. At Hudson, Tee Ward finished at the top of his class in a crowded field of state ranked opponents. Tee went 4-0, including a pin over #1 ranked Cole Marry of Hudson in the finals. Trey Myers ended up in 4th after injury defaulting out of the semi finals. Trey also picked up his 150th career victory in the quarterfinals.
Fremont wrestles at home Wednesday.
