Fremont opened the West Michigan Conference Season with two wins tonight. The Packers won the first dual 56 - 24 against Holton, and needed the 6th tie breaking criteria to defeat Shelby 43-43. Wrestlers that went 2-0 on the evening were Chase Montague, Killian Prewitt, Tee Ward, Beckett Newell, and Trey Myers. Senior Killian Prewitt also earned his 100th career win in the match tonight. The wrestlers travel to Belding this weekend.
