Fremont Wrestling Finishes Runner-Up to Whitehall in the Lakes Division of the West Michigan Conference

The Packers completed their regular season with the individual West Michigan Conference Tournament at Orchard View High School. The two divisions, the Lakes and Rivers, held a combined individual tournament and Fremont finished behind the Vikings of Whitehall.  The Packers crowned 3 Conference Champions that earned 1st Team All-Conference Honors.  Tee Ward was the champ at 138 pounds. Trey Myers won the 165 pound weight class and Michael Romero pinned his way to a championship at 215 pounds, reaching his 100^th career pin milestone. Earning All-Conference Honorable Mention Honors were: Kashton Atwood (126), Braulio Gomez (132), Briar Hambrock (285), Landon Hekkema (113), Kaiye Miron (190), Beckett Newell, (150), and Killian Prewitt (120). Other Packers with wins on the day were: Joe Campbell, Wes Campbell, Khai Noordyk, Ella Shields, Kayden Stenberg, Rylee Wright and Seth Zerlaut.

The Packers start their post season competition on Wednesday at Fruitport High School in the Team Districts competition and will wrestle at Individual Districts on Saturday at Allendale High School.
