Fremont Wrestling Notches Two WMC Conference Victories
The Packers had a great night at Holton High School on Wednesday. The highlight of the evening was Tee Ward earning his 100th career victory. At the 138 pound weight class, Ward took 1 :49 to post a technical fall against D’rico Spytma of Holton, winning 17-0. Fremont went on to defeat Holton 71-12. Other winners against the Red Devils were: Kashton Atwood, Killian Prewitt, Braulio Gomez, Beckett Newell, Cole Lowery, Kolten Belmarez, Trey Myers, Kaiye Miron, Michael Romero, Briar Hambrock, and Chase Montague.
The second round was against the Shelby Tigers. The Packers won 59-18 and had wins from Killian Prewitt, Tee Ward, Braulio Gomez, Beckett Newell, Kolten Belmarez, Trey Myers, Michael Romero, Briar Hambrock, Chase Montague, and Kashton Atwood.
