Fremont Wrestling Placed 3^rd Overall at the Eric Scott Memorial Tournament

Fremont Wrestling competed at Montague High School over Christmas Break. The girls wrestled at the Lady Mat Cat Invitational and the boys were at the Eric Scott Memorial Tournament. Rylee Wright, Ella Shields and Maya Hambrock all represented the Packers  well and had a successful day at the 46 team invitational.   Ella Shields took 3^rd place and recorded 3 pins in the process. Maya Hambrock won her first match 8-7 and then lost in the semifinals and then was injured in the next match. She place 4^th overall.

At the Eric Scott Tournament, the boys took home the 3^rd Place Trophy at the 16 team invite. 

Three Packers were crowned the Champion at their weight and took home the chart ,and we had 4 others on the podium as well.

Finishing in 1^st place: Tee Ward (138), Trey Myers(175) and Michael Romero (215).

Finishing in 3^rd Place: Killian Prewitt (126) and Briar Hambrock (285)

Finishing in 5^th Place: Braulio Gomez-Soto (144) and Kyle Nagel (215)

Other Packers posting victories were: Chase Montague (113),  Kashton Atwood (120),  Joe Campbell (132),  Kaiye Miron (190) and Khai Noordyk (190).
