Fremont Wrestling Hosted Regionals

Fremont hosted the Individual Regional tournament last Saturday.  The Packers had 4 wrestlers qualify for the Individual State Tournament.  At 103 Killian Prewitt placed 3rd. Sophomore Tee Ward was crowned the Champion at 119 pounds.  At 145 pounds,  Sophomore Trey Myers finished in 4th place. Tee and Trey both placed at State last year.  Michael Romero placed 4th as well and this is his third trip to the state finals. 

Fremont girls competed at the The Girls Only Regional- Blue  last Sunday at Hartland High School. Three of the six girls qualified for state. Lexie Andree placed 3rd at 170 pounds. Kaidyn Pierson (105) and Ella Shields (120) both placed 5th. Eight girls qualified in each weight class from the two Regionals.

All 7 of Fremont’s qualifiers will  compete at the Inidividual State Finals at Ford Field in Detroit the first weekend of March.
