Fremont Advances 7 Individual Qualifiers to Regionals
Gaylord hosted the Division 2 Individual Districts last Saturday. Fremont had 7 wrestlers that finished in the top four of their weight class and will compete in their own gym to earn the chance to compete at the State Finals held at Ford Field in Detroit. The Packers had one Champion, Tee Ward, at 119 pounds. Placing third were Killian Prewitt (103), Trey Myers (145), and Michael Romero (189.) Fourth place finishes were RJ Thome(125), Daniel Romero (130), and Alex Gleason (145.) The Packers will host Regionals and will face the placers from the Fenton District. The top four in each weight will advance to the State Finals.
