Fremont Wrestling Competed at Team Districts
Fremont wrestling traveled to Cadillac to face #4 State-ranked Gaylord in the first round of team districts. The Packers faced the Blue Devils and started at the 171 pound weight class. Gaylord won the first three weights with pins and then Fremont scored two pins of their own with Briar Hambrock and Killian Prewitt getting their hands raised. The Packers would then go on to mark wins from RJ Thome at 119, Daniel Romero at 130 and Trey Myers at 145 pounds. The Blue Devils were the victors by a score of 54-27. Fremont’s dual record was 19-5 for the season.
