Fremont Wrestling Placed Third at Eric Scott Memorial Tournament at Montague High School.

The Packers traveled to Montague on Wednesday. Fifteen schools made the journey and competed in the individual format tournament. Sophomores Tee Ward (119) and Trey Myers (145) won the championship at their weight classes, both going 4-0. Third place finishers with only 1 loss on the day were Killian Prewitt (103), RJ Thome (125), and Michael Romero (189). Alex Gleason placed 4th at 152 pounds. Daniel Romero went 3-1 and placed 5th at 130 pounds. Rounding out the medalists on the podium were Braulio Gomez(135) and Colby Wright (285), who both placed 6th. Other wrestlers posting wins were: Elias Bowen, Kage Atwood, Vinnie Mellema, Dennis Halasinski, and Kyle Nagel.

Montague also hosted a Girls Tournament on Thursday and Marina Almendro, Rylee Wright and Lexie Andree all competed. Andree placed third and earned a spot on the podium.
