Fremont Wrestling Advances Nine to Regionals
The Fremont Wrestling Team traveled to Bay City John Glenn High School for the Individual Districts Tournament. The Packers had a strong showing and battled through some tough matches. Nine wrestlers advanced to Individual Regionals which will be held at Fremont High School next Saturday. District Champs were junior, RJ Thome (103#), and Tee Ward (112#) and Trey Myers (130#), both freshmen.
Finishing runner-up were seniors Jager Kibart(152#) and Trey Breuker (160#).
Eli Beasley,senior, at 119 pounds placed third. Fourth place finishers were seniors Matthew Lucas (152#), Gage Montague (145#), and sophomore Michael Romero (189#).
