Fremont Wrestling Defeated Hesperia 63-12

The Fremont Packers traveled to Hart for their second set of Tri-dual matches. 

In the first contest of the night, Fremont faced the Panthers of Hesperia. 

The dual started at the 189 pounds and the Packers won five straight weight classes, stretching the lead to 30-0. There were some tough battles in the middle weights and then the Packers went on to win six more bouts, winning by a commanding score of 63-12. Winners against Hesperia were Zach Anderson, Michael Romero, Cody Visscher, Killian  Prewitt , RJ Thome, Trey Myers, Braulio Gomez-Soto, Alex Gleason, Jager Kibart, Trey Breuker, and Maverick McKinnon.

The second dual was against Muskegon Catholic Central. The Packers won 13 of the 14 weight classes and  triumphed 75-6. Victorious Packers against the Crusaders were Visscher, Prewitt, Thome, Eli Beasley, Tee Ward, Daniel Romero, Gomez-Soto, Myers, Gleason, Kibart, Matt Lucas, Breuker, and M. Romero. 

The final bout was against Hart, who is ranked 8th in the state.The Pirates started out the match by winning the heavyweight battle, and then at 103 pounds, Prewitt tied it up with a pin. The Packers lead for the entire remainder of the match and the score was 32-31 going into the last weight class. It was a back and forth contest, but the Packers came up just short, losing 37-32. Each team won 7 weights, but the bonus points were the difference. It was a great team effort. The Packers that won were Prewitt, Thome, Ward, Beasley, Myers, Kibart, and Breuker.
