Congratulations to the 9 Fremont Wrestlers who placed at the Individual Districts hosted by the Packers on Saturday. 

Jager Kibart and Trey Breuker were crowned Champions at 145 and 152 pounds, respectively. They are both Juniors.

Other finalists that placed runner- up were Sophomores,  RJ Thome at 103 and Gage Breuker at 130.

Fremont had 4 wrestlers place 3rd overall.

They were Freshmen Alex Gleason (135), Senior Matthew Halasinski (140), Freshmen  Michael Romero (189), and Senior Kyler Kolk (215).

Senior, Chase  Knudsen placed fourth at 160 pounds. All nine advance to individual regionals held at Lakewood High School in Lake Odessa next Saturday. The top four finishers in each weight at regionals advance to the state finals in Detroit at Ford Field.

Other Packers that all had at least one win at Districts were Cody Visscher at 215, Payton Mansfield (285), Colby Wright (285), Gage Montague (135) and Caden Christoffersen (171). 

Everyone wrestled well and the team travels to Comstock Park on Wednesday to wrestle in Team Regionals at 5:30 against Orchard View. The winner of that match wrestles the winner between Comstock Park and Godwin Heights, immediately  following the first round.
