The Fremont Packers' Wrestling Team was crowned the Champions of the Montague Holiday Mat Cat Classic Invitational out of 15 teams.  The final top 5 team scores were:  1st. Fremont 223.5.    2nd Holland. 185.5.    3rd Hudsonville 165

4th Spring Lake 135.5.  5th Hesperia 95.5

Individual Champions for the Packers were:

RJ Thome at 103 pounds.         Trey Breuker at 160 pounds.        Kyler Kolk at 215 pounds

Finalists that were second were:

Alex Gleason at 130 pounds.   Jager Kibart at 152 pounds.    Michael Romero at 189 pounds.

Other medalists were: 3rd Place - Gage Montague at 145 pounds and Briar Hambrock at 285 pounds

4th Place: Eli Beasley at 119 pounds, Matt Halasinski at 140 pounds, and Chase Knudsen at 171 pounds.

6th Place: Henrik Quist at 103 pounds. Sam Parks at 125 pounds and Cody Visscher at 285 pounds.

Chase Knudsen received his 100th Career Victory!

Knudsen earned his 100th win in his very first match of the day at Montague against Muskegon's Seth Harris with a pin in

25 seconds.
