CENTRAL MONTCALM HIGH SCHOOL: 24
The Fremont Packers started their CSAA Gold Conference competition tonight with two victories.
The Packers defeated host Central Montcalm 57-24. Wrestlers that won by pin were Chase Knudsen, Michael Romero, Kyler Kolk, Colby Wright, Eli Beasley, Matt Long, Jager Kibart and Trey Breuker. Other Packers that won were Gage Breuker and RJ Thome.
In their second dual, the Packers beat Reed City 69-8. Fremont wrestlers that pinned their opponent were Michael Romero, Sam Parks, Gage Breuker, Jager Kibart, Trey Breuker and Chase Knudsen. Other Packers recording wins were Cody Visscher, RJ Thome, Eli Beasley, Wei Chen, Gage Montague, and Matthew Halasinski.
Other wins for the team were recorded by Briar Hambrock, Braulio Gomez (2), Caden Christoffersen, Cayden Young, and Zachary Anderson.
