The Packers varsity got off to a slow start and fell behind early on to the visiting Ludington Orioles.  Ludington took control early on in the 1st half and didn't look back taking a 36-0 lead in to the half.  The Packers came out in the 2nd half looking more aggressive scored an early 3rd quarter touchdown on 14 yard run by Karter Frens to bring the score 36-6.  Ludington responded back in the 4th to extend their lead to 43-6.  Fremont answered right back and Karter Frens found pay dirt again from 4 yards out to close out the scoring and the final score of 43-12.  Leading the way for the Packers on offense was Karter Frens rusing for 82 yards on 15 attempts and 2 touchdowns, Brayden Crosley had 38 yards rushing and Khai Noordyk had 35 yards on the ground.  Crosley was 8 for 13 passing with 58 yards, finding Cuyler Cook-Hansen for 1 receptions for 27 yards, Asa Barnhard for 2 receptions for 20 yards.  Leading the Packers on defense was Trentyn Corley with 9 tackles, Asa Barnhard and Noah Hansen with 8 each.  Tritian Corrigan also had 8 tackles and an interception in the end zone.  The Packers are on the road next week as they travel to Grant to play for and keep the Water Pail trophy.
