MANISTEE HIGH SCHOOL: 35
The Packers finished their season with a loss a 35-6 loss to Manistee. The lone touchdown came in the 4th quarter with a reverse pass from Kyler DeKuiper to Gabe Curtice for a 60 yard touchdown pass. Justin Dirheimer finished with 51 yards rushing on 12 carries. Freshman Talen Reichert-Slater was 7/13 for 83 yards. Defensively, Michael Romero finished with a season high 14 tackles against the run heavy offense that Manistee ran. Gabe VanVleet finished with 8 tackles and Connor Pettis added 7.
There were many bright spots for the Packers this season, including their best record since the 2014 season. Justin Dirheimer finished the season with 1290 yards rushing and 9 rushing touchdowns. Michael Romero finished the season with 69.5 tackles and his brother Daniel finished with 4 interceptions. The season has provided the Packers with a solid base to continue building on future sucess.
