Boys Varsity Football vs. Oakridge HS School

The Packers fought hard, but came up short to Oakridge 36-8. The Packers lone touchdown came in the 3rd quarter as Kyler DeKuiper hooked up with Justin Dirheimer for a 64 yard touchdown with 7 seconds left in the 3rd. Leading the way for the Packers on offense was Justin Dirheimer with 55 yards rushing on 21 attempts and and 6 receptions for 95 yards. Kyler DeKuiper was 5 for 10 for 105 yards and one TD pass and also had a reception for 35 yards. Talen Reichert-Slater was 8 for 16 for 75 yards. The defense was once again lead by Michael Romero with 8.5 tackles, Owen Hertel with 6 and Owen VandenBerg with 5. Daniel Romero and DeKuiper also had an interception as well. The varsity travels to Orchard View next week.
