Head Coach Jason Carpenter did not have the Packer football team ready to go in the first half as the Packers played flat with lack of energy. The offense could not move the ball and did not have a first down until the second quarter and the defense could not stop Ludington's outside running attack. The second have was much better from the Packers, offensively the combination of quarterback Payton Mansfield to tightend Gabe VanVleet showed some promise as VanVleet finished with 7 catches for 71 yards and 2 TDs. Defensively the Packers caused some crucial turnovers in the second half that led to two Packer touchdowns. The Fremont Packers look to rebound as they will return home next Friday to face Tri-County in a CSAA battle.
