Fremont Varsity Packers Defeats Central Montcalm in Pitcher's Duel

Both teams were strong on the hill Wednesday, but Fremont Varsity Packers defeated Central Montcalm 3-1. Brendon Maka allowed just three hits to Central Montcalm.

Central Montcalm fired up the offense in the second inning.  Train doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Fremont Varsity Packers pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning.  In the third Joe Delong singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run and Maka singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Maka took the win for Fremont Varsity Packers. Maka allowed three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Bracey took the loss for Central Montcalm. The bulldog allowed four hits and three runs over six innings, striking out five.

Delong led Fremont Varsity Packers with two hits in three at bats.
