The Packers had a non-conference match against Reed City at AJ's Event Center in Evart. The guys were faced with unfamiliar conditions bowling on wooden lanes and a house pattern that they had not bowled on before. They struggled during the baker games losing the first game by 31 pins and the next one by 75, going down 10 - 0 after the baker set. The guys continued to make adjustments amd would come back strong winning the first regular game 927 - 763 and the last game 860 - 704. The would lose only 1 point after the bakers and won the match 19 - 11. The team was led by Gavin Payne with games of 213 and 196, Ian Berry had a 203, and Luke Stitt added a 192.
