The Packer Ladies traveled to Muskegon for a Tri with Reeths Puffer and Spring Lake.  The first match was with Reeths Puffer and the Packers swept the match winning both sets with scores of 25/23.  The next match was with Spring lake and the Packers were defeated the first set with a score of 12/25, however, the Packers were not giving up.  In the second set, the Packers brought the heat and beat  Spring Lake with a score of 25/21.  In the third set, the Packers defeated Spring Lake in an exciting game that ended in a score of 15/11 securing the win for the Packers.  

Highlights for serving include Setter Ashe VandenBerg with 25, Libero Grace Evans with 17, Left hitter Hallie Snyder and Right hitter Cayman Ramsey both with 10.  Passing highlights include Libero Grace Evans with 53, Left back Rhyse Montague with 20, Left back Taylor Johnson with 18, Right back Ava Krohn with 14, and Left hitter Hallie Snyder with 12.  Tip/Attack highlights include Left hitter Cecelia Crisman with 45, Left hitter Hallie Snyder with 26, Right hitter Cayman Ramsey with 17, Setter Ashe VandenBerg with 14 and Middle Kate Mellema with 11.

The Ladies head to Grand Haven Saturday October 14 for the 2023 Junior Varsity Lakeshore Classic Invitational.  There they will meet up with 16 teams including Hudsonville, Grand Haven, Jenison, Zeeland East , Grand Rapids Christian, West Catholic, Grandville, East Grand Rapids, Montague, Kenowa Hills, Forest Hills Central, Unity Christian, Coopersville, Byron Center and Rockford.  The tournament begins at 8:30.

JV Packer Record: 38/10/1 overall and 5/0 in conference.
