The JV Packer Ladies traveled to Manistee on Tuesday night to face off with the Mariners.  In the first match the Mariners took an early lead but the Packers fought back and took the win with a 25/17 final score. The second match was dominated by the Packers and they secured the win with a 25/14 win.  Time allowed for a third and final match between the two teams and the Packers again brought the heat and won the set 15/7.  The nights victory over the Mariners captured the second conference win for the Packers and puts their record at a 2/0 in the run for the conference title.  Players who lead the Packer in  Attacks/Tips were Cecelia Crisman with 13, Ivy Heft and Hallie Snyder with 7 each.  Serving leaders include Ivy Heft with 11  followed by Ashe VandenBerg and Hallie Snyder each with 8.  Grace Evans led the team in passing with 13.  

The Packer Ladies head to north this Saturday for the 2nd Annual Reed City Varsity Volleyball Invite.  There they will face off with Kingsley, Potters House and Benzie Central in pool play.  In bracket play, they could meet up with Reed City, Clare, Comstock Park, Buckley, Pine River, Lake City, Ludington or Kalkaska.  The tournament will be packed full of great volleyball.
