SPARTA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The lady JV packers played in the Sparta tournament today. They went 2-1-2 on the day beating the host school Sparta and Tri County in bracket play. They tied Tri County and Hastings during pool play and losing to Whitehall in bracket play. The team had 50 Aces on the day, led by Alexis LaCount and Bella Ross with 9 each. On the attack, Laney Sipos led the team with 15 kills, with Josie Visser (10) Marcy Tanner and Alexis LaCount with 9 each. Assist leaders were Maya Curtice with 21 and Marcy Tanner with 13. Defensively, the pack was led by Syd Dunbar with 18 digs. The Pack play at home on Tuesday, September 24 agains Central Montcalm at 5:30 pm.
