OAKRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Lady Packers captured their first conference victory of the season by defeating the Oakridge Eagles on the road. The won in straight sets; 25-20, 25-19, and 25-18. Serving plagued the Pack most of the match, but everyone was able to contribute to work as a team and grind out the victory.
Offensive leaders for the Pack included Averi Zimmer with 3 aces, Kenzie Gleason with 2, while Cece Crisman and Taylor DeKuiper each added an ace. Zimmer led the Pack with 11 kills, followed by Mia Clemence and DeKuiper with 6. Brynna Barnhart tossed up 30 assists during the contest.
Defensively, the Pack was led by Grace Evans with 15 digs, followed by Zimmer and Clemence, each with 8 and Crisman with 7. Barnhart, Clemence, Gleason, and DeKuiper each added a block during the match.
The Pack play this Saturday at the Newaygo County Tournament. Go Pack.
