The Lady Packers traveled to Grand Haven for a mini tournament. The lost to Lowell, 0-2, Mona Shores, 0-2 in the first round of pool play. The Pack prepared for round 2, battling with the likes of Portage Northern, losing 0-2, while regrouping to battle Zeeland West, defeating them 2-0.
Offensive leaders for the Pack include Brynna Barnhart with 5 Aces, followed by Taylor DeKuiper and Ashe Vandenberg each with 3. Attack leaders included Averi Zimmer with 13, with DeKuiper with 9 and Mia Clemence with 8. Barnhart had 27 assists on the evening.
Defensively, the Pack was led by Grace Evans with 15 digs, Cecelia Crisman with 9, and Taylor Johnson with 8. Block leaders included DeKuiper and Mackenzie Gleason, each with 2.
The Pack are off until they begin Conference play with a matchup at Oakridge Sept 3rd. Go Pack.
