The Varsity Lady Packers volleyball team claim their first district title since 2010 by defeating the Spartans of Sparta in 4 sets with scores 25 - 19, 22 - 25, 25 - 14, and 25 - 11. This was a total team effort as everyone contributed with the win.
Offensively, the Pack had 44 kills. Sage Vandenberg led with 15 kills followed by Marcy Tanner with 8. The team also had 17 service aces. Carle Bruggema led the team with 4, followed by Kendall Barnhart, Mia Clemence and Tanner each with 3. Bruggema also chipped in 23 assists on the match.
Defensively, the Pack had 46 digs. Baylah Parker led with 13 followed by Barnhart with 8. Vandenberg led the team with 5 blocks.
The Pack face the winner of the Fruitport district next Tuesday at Comstock Park with a 5 pm start time. Go Pack!
