TRI-COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Varsity Lady Packers defended their home court as they opened district play by defeating the Vikings from Tri - County 3 - 0 with scores of 25 - 17, 25 - 20, 25 - 19. It was a great team effort with many girls getting kills and plays on the ball.
Offensively, the Pack had 38 kills; Sage Vandenberg led with 13 kills and Kendall Barnhart with 7. The team also had 16 service aces; Barnhart and Carle Bruggema each had 5. Bruggema also chipped in 30 assists.
Defensively, the Pack had 50 digs; Baylah Parker led with 9 digs followed by Barnhart and Bruggema each with 8.
The Pack face the Spartans of Sparta for the district championship at 6 pm at Fremont High School. Go Pack!
